Babymetal can look back on 15 years of band history. To celebrate the anniversary, they have re-recorded one of their earliest Kawaii Metal hits, this time in the current band lineup featuring Momoko Okazaki (Momometal), whereas the original was recorded together with Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal). The song was originally released as a single in 2012 and later appeared on their 2014 debut album Babymetal.

The “15th Night Version” of the song naturally comes with a brand-new music video. Watch it here and relive Babymetal’s early years:

Of course lead singer Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) now reflects on the past 15 highly emotional years, like in an interview from 2025:

“Now that I think about these 15 years… I really put in so much effort and worked so hard. Despite everything we’ve been through, I’m grateful and relieved that BABYMETAL is still standing strong.”
