Yesterday evening, the Summer Breeze Festival kicked off its 29th edition with a very special event - the solar eclipse turned Airbourne's performance into an unforgettable experience. With that alone, the festival in Dinkelsbühl is already making history this year - and next year, they are taking it up another notch with the anniversary edition for the 30th Summer Breeze ever:

It will take place from August 18–21, 2027.

The metal festival has been thrilling its community since 1997, and alongside the dates and the first acts for 2027, the organizers have announced a special program item for the occasion. Right at the top of the poster, between confirmed headliners Electric Callboy and Edguy—who intend to deliver an emotional farewell show there—the "Summer Breeze Legends & Orchestra" takes center stage. As an absolute highlight, a selection of significant songs from the festival's history will be performed here by a lineup featuring the Leipzig Philharmonic Orchestra and other musicians—a fitting birthday tribute indeed.

Following that on the poster are further highlights like Saltatio Mortis, Children Of Bodom, HammerFall, Halestorm, Lord Of The Lost, Eluveitie, and on and on...
