At the beginning of April, Holding Absence returned with their single “Whisper Of A Dream” — and it already felt like there had to be more coming. And sure enough: just over a month later, the band around frontman Lucas Woodland not only released another new single titled “Reflection”, but also officially announced their brand-new album.

Lucas Woodland describes Modern Life Is Lonely as the band’s “boldest and most creative work to date.” The upcoming release marks Holding Absence’s fourth full-length album and follows A Noble Art Of Self Destruction from 2023.
Fans will most likely get to hear the new songs live this November, when the band heads out on tour across Germany alongside Enter Shikari.
