Not long ago, Electric Callboy shared the announcement that their longtime drummer David Friedrich has decided to leave the band. Despite this, the scheduled shows for 2025 will still go ahead – and now the band has revealed who will be behind the drums at their summer festival gigs.
Their pick: Frank Zummo, who could have been enjoying a well-earned retirement after Sum 41’s farewell tour – as seen in the video below. But plans have changed: this summer, he’s hitting the big festival stages again, this time with Electric Callboy. Most importantly: his kids gave him their blessing – so it’s all systems go!
Back in late 2024, Frank Zummo already stepped in spontaneously for a show in Australia when David Friedrich was unable to perform due to illness.
