Bring Me The Horizon are no strangers to Rock am Ring. Since their debut there in 2009, the band has graced the festival’s stages multiple times. And if you watch the footage of their previous performances below, it quickly becomes clear how incredible their journey has been – from a small metalcore act to full-blown headliners. Both Oli Sykes’ vocals and their stage production have evolved massively over the years. So let’s dive into a BMTH x Rock am Ring time capsule!

2009

Their very first appearance – just a few years after the band formed in 2004. You can definitely feel the raw energy and early-stage chaos in the rare clips from this set.

2011

Between 2011 and 2013, the band came back stronger, with a growing fanbase and massive songs from the There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It... and Sempiternal eras. Nostalgia overload.

2013

More polished, more confident, and with “Shadow Moses” shaking the festival grounds – this show marked a major step up for the band.

2016 (Rock im Park)

In 2016, Rock am Ring was hit hard by weather chaos – so we’ve linked a recording from their Rock im Park twin show instead.

2019

BMTH entered the amo era – a major shift in sound and live aesthetic. Love it or hate it, this performance showcased their range like never before.

2023

Their most intense Rock am Ring performance to date? Could be. In 2023, BMTH took over the Utopia Stage for a dramatic midnight special – complete with fan favorites like “Can You Feel My Heart,” “AmEN!” and “Drown.”

One thing’s for sure: Bring Me The Horizon have never delivered a boring show. Whether it’s their evolving sound or stage production, they continue to push boundaries and redefine themselves. We can’t wait to see what they’ll bring to the stage this year – especially with fresh material from their new album POST HUMAN: NeX GEn.
