According to a Study: Metalheads are the Least Likely to Cheat

A survey has shown that metal fans are more faithful than fans of certain other music genres. Check out the results of the study here.

A survey conducted by the website Victoria Milan (which specifically caters to affairs) in 2015 analyzed data from 6,500 participants to determine fans of which music genres are most and least likely to cheat. Out of a total of twelve genres, heavy metal ranks at the very bottom of the list as the “most faithful genre” of all (hooray!). Indie, electronica, and rock and roll show similarly low tendencies. A slightly different mindset appears at the top three spots, which are occupied by jazz, salsa, and pop

Here’s the full list of results:

  1. Jazz: 19%
  2. Salsa: 14%
  3. Pop: 13%
  4. Country: 12%
  5. Rap: 9%
  6. Classical: 8%
  7. Blues: 6%
  8. Reggae: 5%
  9. Rock and Roll: 5%
  10. Electronica: 4%
  11. Indie: 3%
  12. Heavy Metal: 2%

That certainly makes metalheads look pretty great—even if it’s clearly a very self-serving study by the website itself… So with that in mind, keep blasting the music:
