Final Fantasy XIV has posted a video of guitarist Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave) in which he talks about his new song for the game, created in collaboration with Beartooth. The track, “Everything Burns,” will appear on the Arcadion Stage in Final Fantasy XIV, and at the end of the video you can already hear a first preview of what it sounds like. It's also a preview for Patch 7.4, which is coming on December 16th.
Tom Morello shares the story behind the song’s creation:
"It all started when Jason Charles Miller told me that Soken-san, the composer of Final Fantasy XIV, was a huge Rage Against The Machine fan and wanted to collaborate. So I got down to work and rocked this track that you're about to get a preview of with Beartooth, a great band. We wanted to make something super heavy and super powerful for Finaly Fantasy XIV. I wanted to make an absolute rocking banger of a track that would mirror the energy and the potency of this game. Super excited for everyone to hear the full track when it drops."
