Just like last year, Slipknot have once again commented on the release of their project "Look Outside Your Window" shortly before the end of the year.

Back in December 2024, we reported on the latest delay of Slipknot’s "Look Outside Your Window" release. Reportedly, Shawn “Clown” Crahan has now addressed the topic again in a Discord Q&A — and, unsurprisingly, the release is no longer expected this year, but next year instead:

“I know I told everyone it would be this year. I’m very sorry it hasn’t been. Things come to play that change things all the time with the art we create. I want you to know 2026 is the year. It’s just simply time and I’m just getting tired of waiting myself. Have faith. I promise.”

Fortunately, he also sounds confident that the work won’t feel out of context despite the delays. He previously said about it:

“It’s sort of timeless in my opinion, so I try not to worry about it too much. I’ve waited this long for it to be right and it just never has. [...] It’s not meant to be confused or watered down for marketing purposes. It’s really just another piece of the puzzle and the imagination that’s missing. People might really need it.”
