Next Gen: Band Contest for Impericon Festival 2026

Secure your band's chance to perform at Impericon Festival 2026!

Our two-day summer festival takes place from June 26 - 27 in Leipzig, and this year, you once again have the opportunity to be part of it.

We are holding another Band Contest: the winners will receive an opening slot in our lineup for Saturday, June 27. This gives you the chance to share the stage with bands and artists like Rise Against, Landmvrks, Lionheart, and many more!

What’s the process?

First, you simply apply below via the form - this is possible for you from April 9 to 19. After that, 8 bands will be selected from all entrants and will compete against each other in several rounds of voting by our community.

Round 1 takes place from April 27 - 30. The semi-final follows from May 4 - 5 and from May 8 - 11 it's on to the final - we will of course introduce the finalists to our community on social media as well as in a post in our online magazine. On May 13, we will then present the final winner of the Band Contest.
