Sustainable Shopping - For a Better Environment

The issue of sustainability stands in the focus of society for several years now. Not only in politics, also in the fashion industry the desire for sustainable fashion grew a lot during the last years. For the better, in our opinion! Humanity is consuming more and more of our earth’s resources, too much waste is being produced and climate researchers are already warning of irreversible damage if we don’t start questioning our lifestyle. 

The earth is our home - so why not treat it that way? With the increasing supply and demand for environmentally friendly products, we’ve also decided to expand our range with many sustainable items. We mark them accordingly as sustainable in our shop and also created this dedicated page.

What Materials Are Our Sustainable Products Made Of?

We’re particularly proud to finally offer sustainable merchandise. For example, most merch items from the British metalcore band Architects are marked as sustainable! This means that the shirts are made of 100% organic cotton. The natural fiber can also be found in merchandise from Parkway Drive, Thy Art Is Murder, Beartooth and many more.

During the last months we’ve also added new fashion brands that stand for a sustainable shopping experience. Armedangels has been creating sustainable and fairly produced fashion for 15 years now. You can also find vegan boots by Viron made from apple leather or recycled PET bottles and sneakers from Toms made from plant-based and recycled materials.

Sustainable For Humans & Animals

The way humanity keeps animals contributes significantly to the problems we have with our environment. Did you know that animal husbandry and producing animal products accounts for almost 15% of all greenhouse emissions? Even in the early days of Impericon, it was important to us to not use animal products of any kind. We continue this tradition to this day: You’ll find almost exclusively vegan leather products in our shop. 

Together For A Good Cause

Last but not least, you’ll also find products supporting various charity organizations in our Together for Charity category. For every sold product an amount is donated to good cause. Viva con Agua for example is committed to ensuring safe access to clean drinking water, while Sea Shepherd has set itself the task of protecting the oceans. With buying products from these organizations you’re not only doing something good for yourself, but also for the environment!
