It's a classic and everyone wants it – the famous Levi’s jeans. For over 150 years, this iconic garment has maintained its presence in the market. In 1853, Levi Strauss & Co. was founded in San Francisco. The man we have to thank for the famous denim jeans comes from Germany. Löb Strauß immigrated from Franconia to California to open a textile business with his brother.
