Wacken Open Air 2026 is still in full swing, but preparations for next year's edition are already well underway. On both Wednesday and Thursday, the organizers unveiled the first wave of bands for 2027—and the lineup is already looking impressive.
These Bands Are Confirmed for Wacken Open Air 2027
Metalcore fans, in particular, have plenty to look forward to. The first announcements include Electric Callboy, Heaven Shall Burn, Carnifex, Malevolence, Imminence, Make Them Suffer, The Browning, The Narrator, Blue Medusa, Hiraes, Mittel Alta, Shadow Of Intent, Sylosis, and Jinjer.
The first announcement on Wednesday also featured several other notable acts, including Belphegor, Crypta, Dethklok, Gaerea, Kanonenfieber, Napalm Death, Witch Club Satan, Abbath, Ice Dale, and Armagedda.
