Slayer Celebrate 40 Years of “Reign In Blood” with Two Anniversary Shows

Slayer will perform their iconic 1986 album “Reign In Blood” in its entirety over two nights to celebrate the album's 40th anniversary.

Reign In Blood is turning 40: Slayer are celebrating this milestone with two major anniversary shows in the US, where the setlist will consist of the complete album tracklist. This legendary work from the heyday of 1980s Thrash Metal features the iconic song “Angel Of Death,” which is expected to serve as the set opener.

Each show will feature three different support acts; night one with Down, Suicidal Tendencies, and Hatebreed, and night two with Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera, and Crowbar—with Cavalera performing the Sepultura album Chaos A.D. in full. Both show dates are listed below.

The Return to L.A.

Regarding the Reign In Blood anniversary concerts, Slayer’s Instagram channel states:

“The fastest, the heaviest, the most uncompromising record in thrash metal history turns 40.

SLAYER marks the anniversary with two US headline shows featuring the album performed in full, including their first LA show in seven years.

Both dates will take place in the fall as follows:

  • Sep 04, 2026 – Shakopee, MN
  • Nov 13, 2026 – Los Angeles, CA
