Yesterday, Rock am Ring and Deutsche Telekom jointly announced an extended partnership for 2026 and beyond. In recent years the festival was streamed via RTL and then on Bild.de, but now the festival at the Nürburgring and MagentaMusik have reunited. For this year, that means you can still watch your favorites live despite the festival being sold out — comfortably from home via MagentaTV. You don’t even need a subscription!
The announcement specifically states:
“With MagentaMusik on MagentaTV, in 2026 not only the Utopia Stage but also the Mandora Stage will once again be streamed live and free! 🔥
Of course, Deutsche Telekom will provide additional mobile network capacity on the festival grounds so you’ll have a more stable connection. 🙏”
So both main stages will be covered in the stream, and you can settle in on the couch ahead of time. As for the date: Rock am Ring 2026 will take place from June 5 to June 7.
Who’s playing?
If you haven’t checked the lineup yet: Linkin Park, Bad Omens, Electric Callboy and Iron Maiden are just a few of the many highlights from this year’s festival edition… And now that it’s finally starting to get warmer again, use those spring vibes and put together your individual festival outfit with merch from the lineup right away!
