Day 2 of Rock am Ring 2025 was once again all about big names, raw emotions, and pure fan love. Even though Saturday brought plenty of rain, that didn’t stop you from partying hard! With Slipknot and Rise Against, two world-class headliners took the stage - but shows by In Flames, Spiritbox, Bullet For My Valentine, and Heaven Shall Burn also brought major energy across all stages. And of course, Saturday featured another round of signing sessions at our tent!

Time to share our impressions and highlights from the second day of the festival.

Our Saturday Live Highlights

One of the first bands to hit the stage in the afternoon was Imminence, and they were absolutely unmissable. Their epic sound, violin melodies, and emotional delivery gave fans chills. Songs like “Heaven Shall Burn” (yes, this song!) and “The Black” sent hearts soaring - kicking the day off perfectly for melodic metalcore lovers.

Spiritbox followed on the Utopia Stage with their genre-bending blend of intensity and atmosphere. Vocalist Courtney LaPlante stunned with her powerful voice, and tracks like “Holy Roller” and “Soft Spine” hit even harder live than they do on the new album Tsunami Sea.

Future Palace hit the Orbit Stage next, showing why they’re one of the most exciting rising acts in the German scene. Their modern sound, combined with Maria Lessing’s intense performance, made a strong impression.

Luckily, the skies cleared just in time for Bullet For My Valentine, who treated the crowd to a full The Poison set - playing every track from their iconic 2005 album. The mosh pits during “Tears Don’t Fall” reached all the way to the back, and as a bonus, the band even threw in “Waking The Demon” as an encore!

Sadly, Heaven Shall Burn had to cut their set short after playing “Übermacht” due to vocalist Marcus Bischoff losing his voice. He addressed the crowd with a short but heartfelt explanation - and fans responded with loud support and respect. Health always comes first - wishing a speedy recovery!

In Flames turned the Ring into a melodic death metal inferno not long after, lighting up the stage with an intense performance that had the crowd fully fired up.

Kontra K delivered a high-energy performance on the Utopia Stage at the same time, bringing his loyal fanbase to life. Between pounding beats and introspective lyrics, the energy was undeniable - onstage and off!

SiM (Silence iz Mine) from Japan brought a real hidden gem to the Atmos Stage. Their explosive mix of punk, metal, and J-Rock had fans hooked in no time. For many Attack on Titan lovers, it was a dream come true - they’re the band behind the anime’s fourth season opening “The Rumbling”!

Then it was finally time for Rise Against, one of the most anticipated acts of the weekend. They lit up the Mandora Stage with their unique blend of punk rock, political edge, and massive singalongs. Tracks like “Prayer of the Refugee” and “Savior” were festival musts - delivering one of the most heartfelt sets of the day.

Slipknot took over the Utopia Stage a little later - and as expected, turned the Ring into a blazing inferno. With their iconic masks, pyrotechnics, and sheer sonic force, the nine-piece left no time to breathe. “Psychosocial,” “Duality,” and even “Scissors” hit with full force, while frontman Corey Taylor kept the crowd in his grip the entire time - once again proving that Slipknot are still among the best live acts in the world.

Signing Sessions of the Day: Future Palace, Imminence & HSB

Saturday brought another packed schedule of signing sessions at our tent. Future Palace, Imminence, and Heaven Shall Burn took time to meet their fans and sign all kinds of gear. Big thanks to everyone who stopped by - we’ll see you on Sunday for the big finale!
