Just after the sad news of the passing of KISS founding member Ace Frehley reached us last Friday, the rock world has to face another heavy loss. Sam Rivers, a founding member and bassist of the Nu Metal band Limp Bizkit, has passed away at the age of just 48. The Nu Metal formation surprisingly shared the sad news over the weekend. However, frontman Fred Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, drummer John Otto, and DJ Lethal did not name an official cause of death in their statement.

Limp Bizkit mourns the loss 

In their emotional statement, the remaining band members bid farewell to their "brother":
