Following the departures of bassist Ryan Neff and their tour manager, Ken Susi and Nick Pierce have now also left As I Lay Dying. You can find their statements here.

It appears that As I Lay Dying's lineup may be dissolving entirely. After Ryan Neff, the former bassist and clean vocalist, made the first move a few days ago, the band’s entire release tour through Europe was shortly thereafter canceled, and their tour manager also parted ways with the band. You can find more information about the tour cancellation in our article from yesterday.

But this seems to be only the beginning, as guitarist Ken Susi and drummer Nick Pierce have now both left the band. While both musicians have released statements on social media, the band has yet to comment. Even the tour cancellation has not been officially acknowledged by them…

Between Music And Morals: Statements From Susi And Pierce

Although none of the musicians who have left so far have mentioned a specific incident, the statements from Ken Susi and Nick Pierce are similar. Both appear to feel that working with As I Lay Dying no longer aligns with their personal morals. However, they plan to continue making music – so we can look forward to future projects from them!
