The midweek charts are in and they bring fantastic news for the metal world: Heaven Shall Burn's new album Heimat is currently ranked #2 in the official German album charts and could still take the top spot by the final count on July 4! Just ahead of them is Bruce Springsteen with his record Tracks II: The Lost Albums. Interestingly, Springsteen holds two spots in the Top 10, with Lost and Found also sitting at #5.

Other rock and metal contenders in the race include Sodom with The Arsonist at #4, Motörhead’s The Manticore Tapes at #7, and Linkin Park’s comeback album From Zero, which has now dropped to #8.

Also joining the Top 10 are pop artist Lorde with Virgin, Dota with Springbrunnen, the trending soundtrack to Sony’s new film "KPop Demon Hunters", and Frank Zappa with Cheaper Than Cheap.
