Bullet For My Valentine are staying busy. Last year, the Welsh band were still touring the world in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their album The Poison and shortly afterwards they headed straight back into the studio to work on a new full-length release. And judging by recent updates, things are moving forward quickly. Not only that — the band already seems to have a release window in mind for the upcoming record.

As drummer Jason Bowld recently revealed, he has already finished recording his parts for the new album, meaning the drums are officially done. The band’s eighth full-length studio album is currently scheduled for release in January 2027.

Before the album drops, fans can apparently expect plenty of new material as well. According to Bowld, the plan is to release five singles ahead of the album — one every month:

I've just finished recording drums for it. And it's gonna be finished probably by June. And then we're looking to release it in January [of 2027]. We need to time it right and build up promo and have five singles, maybe, before it comes out — one every month — and build it up. 'Cause once the machine starts, that's it for 14, 18 months. We're off then. And it has to be set up right.

The upcoming release will mark Bullet For My Valentine’s eighth studio album. Most recently, the band around frontman Matt Tuck released their self-titled record Bullet For My Valentine in 2021. The band originally debuted with The Poison in 2005, which, as mentioned before, celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.
