Four long years Bolt Thrower needed for the 'For Victory' successor, but the wait was worth it. 'Mercenary' offers Bolt Thrower at their finest and was rightly chosen album of the month by Rock Hard magazine! The album was recorded at Chapel Studios, Lincoln, England between December 1997 and January 1998 and was produced by the band and Ewan Davis. The cover painting is titled 'Contact - Wait Out', which is also the first track on the band's next album, 'Honour - Valour - Pride'.
