The History Of Machine Head

Since their formation in 1991, the American band Machine Head has built up a huge fan base. Their career began with the groundbreaking debut album Burn My Eyes in 1994, which immediately caused a sensation in the metal scene. With their aggressive mix of thrash and groove metal, they created a new sound that still influences many bands today. In the following years, the band released a series of successful albums such as The Blackening (2007) and Unto the Locust (2011), which earned them numerous awards and chart positions. In 2018, long-time members Phil Demmel and Dave McClain left Machine Head, which was a major setback for the band. Nevertheless, Machine Head continued to exist, resulting in the album Of Kingdom and Crown in 2022.
