When and where is Rock am Ring 2025 happening?
The festival takes place from June 6 – 8, 2025.
Camping and parking areas will be open from June 4 at 12:00 PM to June 9 at 12:00 PM.

Where can you buy tickets or upgrades?
Tickets are available through the official website rock-am-ring.com and via the official festival app (see below). However, be aware: festival tickets are already sold out this year! Only upgrades like Fast Lane Pass, VIP upgrade, and various camping and parking options are still available.
You can also pre-purchase tickets for lockers or the City Shuttle, which runs from Cologne or Frankfurt directly to the festival grounds (including return tickets).
Getting There
By Car
The route to the festival is well-signposted from the highway exits. Your GPS might direct you differently - trust the signs instead!
There are day parking lots, for which you’ll need a Weekend Car Pass (available on the ticket site or at the venue). Parking lots are open daily from 12:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
By Public Transport
You can travel to Cologne, Frankfurt, or Koblenz and then take the City Shuttle (bus) to and from the Nürburgring.
Entry
Remember: You’ll need your festival wristband to enter the grounds. Info about wristband pickup times and locations is available here. Security checks will be in place at the entrances. Bags and backpacks are allowed as long as they’re smaller than A4 size.

Rock am Ring 2025 features 100 bands on the lineup! Headliners include major acts from around the world, such as Bring Me The Horizon, The Prodigy, K.I.Z., Slipknot, Rise Against, Kontra K, Korn, and Sleep Token.

The Official Festival App
There’s an official Rock am Ring app (also one for Rock im Park), available for iOS and Android. It offers the latest updates, the full running order, and allows you to buy tickets and merch. You can also check your cashless balance in real-time.
The app even includes a playlist to help you get hyped for your favorite performances!
Payments & Cashless
Rock am Ring uses a cashless payment system. You’ll receive a chip along with your wristband, which you can top up with credit and use to pay at all vendors. You can recharge your chip via top-up stations or the festival app - and after the festival, you can get any remaining balance refunded.
Food & Shopping
There will be a wide variety of food stands, including vegan and vegetarian options. If you’d rather stock up yourself, Lidl will have a store on site, visible on the festival map.
