Orbit Culture Interview: On "Death Above Life", Hans Zimmer & More!

This week, Orbit Culture are releasing their new album "Death Above Life". To mark the occasion, we asked Niklas Karlsson a few questions about the record.

In our new interview with Orbit Culture, the spotlight is, of course, on the upcoming album Death Above Life. Vocalist Niklas Karlsson talks about his top three inspirations for the record, ranging from big names in the metal scene to world-famous movie soundtracks:

“It's like a mix of everything. All the bands that we've supported throughout the years. You can definitely hear Meshuggah there, you can hear Slipknot, you can hear basically anything. But more so I think, the inspiration also comes from the movie soundtracks, like Hans Zimmer, especially the movie Dune. I love the music more than the movie, and the movie is absolutely amazing. So the music is just incredible.”

On top of that, he even hints that we might be able to expect a new collaboration soon.
