In a post to their festival community, the event organizers announced that 2026 will mark the final Highfield Festival.
Their official statement sheds light on what has become increasingly clear over recent years: the demands on live events such as music festivals have risen to an extent that makes continuing them difficult to manage or even impossible. Accordingly, the festival team will step back in 2027 and, according to the post, work on a new concept that is viable under these conditions.
In their caption, the team writes:
"HIGHFIELD. ONE LAST DANCE. After nearly 30 unforgettable years, the Highfield Festival will take place for the last time this year. From the bottom of our hearts, we say THANK YOU for every single story and every single one of you who became part of this very special festival. Let’s open the HIGHFIELD chapter one last time together this August and celebrate a proper farewell: One Last Dance. With love and gratitude, your Highfield Team"

One Last Dance: Highfield Festival 2026
This year, from August 13th to 16th, will therefore be the last chance to experience the incomparable vibe of the Highfield Festival in its current form. From the stage lineup featuring Kraftklub, 01099, Dropkick Murphys, Beatsteaks, and many more, to the beach program with a swimming lake and beach volleyball, a summer weekend full of music and community awaits you one last time.
