At this year’s Tribeca Festival, the premiere of Depeche Mode’s new film "Depeche Mode: M" took place. The work, which was met with enthusiasm by the audience, will also be available for the rest of the world to see, and still in 2025. Starting October 28, the film will be shown in cinemas worldwide for a limited time - in over 2,500 cinemas across 60 countries.

To create a truly special cinema atmosphere, the title will also be shown in IMAX theatres. The project is being realized in collaboration with Trafalgar Releasing and Sony Music Vision.

Singer Dave Gahan speaks about the significance of the film:

“At its core, our new film M is about the deep connection between music, culture, and people — and Fernando Frías… did a beautiful job telling that story through the lens of Mexican culture and our shows in Mexico City.”

Marc Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, also comments on the project:

“We’re proud to continue our longstanding collaboration with Sony Music Vision and IMAX to bring DEPECHE MODE: M to audiences worldwide in October. This cinematic experience is a perfect celebration of the Memento Mori Tour and the deep connection Depeche Mode has with their global fanbase.”
