Arch Enemy released a promising teaser clip that immediately sparked heated discussions about the new voice at the mic. Longtime vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has no longer been a member of the band since late 2025 and is now focusing on her solo career instead. She recently also introduced her new band members and guitarists Alyssa Day and Danielle Sophia. But what’s next for Arch Enemy?

Successor Question: Is Angela Gossow Involved?

No official successor has been announced yet. After the teaser went online yesterday, the metal scene immediately began speculating whether former Arch Enemy vocalist Angela Gossow, who fronted the band from 2001 to 2014, could be returning. It has since been confirmed, however, that Gossow will not be resuming her role as singer; instead, she is involved as a manager. She shared this personally in a comment on the teaser on Instagram:

“It’s not ME! But thank you for all the love! I am really excited to be involved in this new chapter as the manager💪 This is gonna CRUSH!”

It seems, however, that we won’t have to wait much longer for the official announcement of a new frontperson. Watch the teaser here:
