If that wasn't the hottest day in our entire festival history! Thank you for partying with us like this despite temperatures over 40°C, even when the Leipzig public transport services (LVB) had to throw in the towel. You are absolute madness!

A massive shoutout at this point for how quickly you connected and helped each other out. That is true community!

Day 2 flew by in the blink of an eye as well, but the memories remain: so let's share some impressions directly with you right here.

See you next year: Impericon Festival 2027 from June 25–26 with Lorna Shore! Secure your tickets here.

Stage Highlights – Escape The Madness to Rise Against

As the Band Contest winners, Escape The Madness had the honor of opening this festival day for you and gave it their all, but you were right back at it with full energy too. First pits started early here, and Saviourself, as the first band of the newly founded Corrupted Blood Records, kept the energy levels sky-high immediately after.

Finest deathcore followed on stage with Cabal and Mental Cruelty, before Siamese brought a change of pace with some violin action on stage. After that, it was a case of "Punk’s Not Dead" with Montreal, who brought 100 Kilo Herz out for live on-stage support. A massive party highlight for all the punk hearts in the crowd.

There was plenty of partying during The Browning too, ranging from headbanging to simply unrestrained dancing (da-ba-dee-da-ba-di…). Meanwhile, I Killed The Prom Queen once again delivered the ultimate soundtrack for a circle pit with nostalgia and breakdowns. You kept banging your heads heavily during Dying Wish right after, before 100 Kilo Herz got their well-deserved slot on the Monster Stage and unpacked their wind instruments once and for all.

Shortly after their signing session, Sleep Theory made you sweat and bust some moves—just before the news dropped that the Leipzig public transport services (LVB) had to completely shut down operations for the day due to the severe heat. Grout leaked into the tram tracks and clumped up, making safe travel impossible.

To process this news, things moved straight along with The Menzingers, who simply kept the mood high regardless. Round of applause! Back to hardcore: Lionheart delivered exactly as ordered, as confirmed by our clips straight from the crowd (the @impericonde socials team was right in the thick of it for you, as always).

Time for the ultimate party act of the day; Mehnersmoos naturally impressed you deeply with their moves and profound lyrics—"Bir" is bound to be the festival anthem par excellence anyway.

And with that, Landmvrks were ready to go as the first headliner of the evening, tearing down HALLE:EINS yet again—from "Creature" and "Death" as openers to "Requiem" and "Self-Made Black Hole" to close it out, it was one mosh track after another, featuring an emotional acoustic intermission with "Suffocate." It slammed, and it was an absolute pleasure.

Rise Against were up next with the grand finale of this year's festival edition, and you still had an unbelievable amount of energy. "Savior" as the closing anthem tore the house down one last time—the perfect conclusion.
