The story behind the founding of H2O is a pretty unusual one. Toby Morse – singer of the band – worked as a roadie for Sick Of It All back in the day and always played with some of his colleges when there weren't any support bands. The crowd was always amazed by his voice and encouraged him to start his own band. That all happened back in 1995 – meanwhile the band released 6 albums and still play in the same line up as they did when they first started, except for one change. The sound of the band is often described as melodic hardcore but also has strong influences of pop punk and NY Hardcore.
