Pop punk meets metalcore - That's how one could describe the recipe for A Day To Remember's success. Shortly after their foundation in 2003, the five boys from Ocala, Florida, played over 200 shows a year and conquered the world with their mix of hard mosh parts and melodic singalongs. Hit records followed, like FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HEART (2007) and HOMESICK (2009) and the band continued to play shows throughout the world with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon and even started their own festival. Things couldn't have gone better, but in 2011 a lawsuit against their label Victory Records turned everything upside down. While arguing at court, Jeremy McKinnon and company wrote the songs for COMMON COURTESY without even knowing how the record would get released. In the end, A Day To Remember won the right to self release the record with their own label ADTR Records.
