This was due both to the improved technique and production of the albums and to touring with other scene giants. During the This Is Exile era, they played with bands such as Parkway Drive, Slayer, and Trivium, which soon led to their own headliner tours with prominent support acts.

On these three albums, Phil Bozeman used clean vocals, which divided the fan community. With Hymns Of Dissonance (2025), the US band returned more strongly to their roots, this time again without clean vocals.
