“Astral Plane”
This song was written originally to be a bonus song, hidden amongst the album. However, once it was finished being recorded it was apparent that it could stand alone. This song ties in what Life Cycles is all about. Although I’m 25 currently, I wrote it more in the mindset of when I’m an older man at the last leg of my life. Will I have lived a good life? Will I have become the man I was destined to be? Will I die and go to Heaven? IS there a Heaven or Hell? Life long questions that most people think about, were the purpose behind these lyrics and many subjects throughout this album. There have been some very dark moments in my life where I’ve thought about ending my life, and what would happen if I did. Certain aspects of life, at your darkest, can drive you a little crazy. Am I crazy? Probably haha. This song to me, has the most emotion behind it and was recorded in the fewest takes out of any song on the album. This is the closest someone will get to knowing how my mind works probably. Enjoy!
