Animals As Leaders were founded as a solo project of former Reflux-guitarist Tosin Abasi. When Reflux split, Abasi accepted the offer by his label Prosthetic Records and released the record ANIMALS AS LEADERS in 2009. Purely instrumental, it is hard to categorize the band. Somewhere between experimental progressive metal, jazz influences and heavy riffs, Animals As Leaders established within the scene. With the second record WEIGHTLESS there are no doubts left!
